Work at height is work in any place, including a place at, above or below ground level, where a person could be injured if they fell from that place. Access and egress to a place of work can also be work at height.

Intended for all those whose duties may involve working at height, this ½ day awareness course addresses the high risk associated with such work, even at low height and the requirements set out in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.

The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 places a duty on every employer to ensure so far as reasonably practicable the safety, health and welfare at work of all his employees which includes provision of the appropriate information, instruction, training and supervision.
